Ryan Cosgrove

Pastor Ryan Cosgrove grew up in a small town in Eastern Iowa. After high school, he left home to study journalism. But God had other plans. In a required religion course, he heard Martin Luther's theology of grace; the promise that we are acceptable to God because of what God has done for us (NOT the other way 'round!). After that, he switched to study theology.

After graduating, Pastor Ryan went to seminary in Gettysburg, PA spending time working in churches in Seattle WA., and Washington, D.C. along the way.

Pastor Ryan is glad to be back in Iowa and serve here, at Unity Lutheran Church.
